Malači visi skolas bērni un skolotājas, kuri pagājušajā nedēļā piedalījās tirdziņā un svētkos! Ar skanīgām balsīm tika deklamēti dzejoļi un dziedāta dziesma "Mana Dziesma". Vieglām pēdiņām tika izdejotas dejas: "Šie mazie mīļie zaķīši", "Palēciens", un "Cūkas driķos". Bija brīnišķīgi ka mēs varējam kopā nosvinēt brīvu Latviju! Šo sestdien, 10. maijā, būs īsa skolas diena - mācības beigsies plkst. 12:00. Saraksts šeit "10. maijs." Mums paredzēts neliels projekts: stādīsim saulespuķu sēkliņas, ko skolēni varēs uzdāvināt ģimenēm Ģimenes dienā. Sirsnīgs paldies Betsijai Aļļei, kura ziedoja sēkliņas!
Tiem, kas var — aicinām uz Ģimenes dienas dievkalpojumu 11. maijā plkst. 10:30. Pēc dievkalpojuma skolas bērni izdalīs ziedus un šokolādes draudzes locekliem. Lūdzu, dodiet ziņu, ja plānojat piedalīties.
17. maijā būs pēdējā skolas diena. Radi un draugi aicināti uz skolu plkst. 11:15, noskatīties nelielu svētku programmu. Katra klase prezentēs savu gada noslēguma projektu.
Pēc programmas notiks kopīgs mielasts — lūdzu, ņemiet līdzi groziņu (piemēram, dārzeņus, augļus vai kādu saldu ēdienu). Pēc tam dosimies uz Powderhorn parku, kur bērni varēs spēlēties un nosvinēt skolas beigšanu!

Skolas izbraukums būs 31. maijā - 01. junijā Interstate State Park, kas ir 1. stundas braucienā no baznīcas. Mums ir sarunāts grupas kempinga vieta. Informācija ir šeit. Well done to all of the school kids and teachers who helped at the Tirdziņš and performed at the May 4th celebration last week. With loud voices, you recited poems and sang "Mana Dziesma". With light feet, you danced "Šie mazie mīļi zaķīši", "Paleciens", un "Cūkas Driķos". What a fine way to celebrate a free Latvia together!
This Saturday, May 10th, will be a short school day. We will end at 12:00 pm. The schedule will follow "10. maijs." We will also have a small project: we will plant sunflower seeds to bring home to our families in honor of Family Day. Thanks to Betsy Aļļe for donating the seeds!
Those that are able are invited to the Family Day church service on May 11th at 10:30am. After church, the school children will pass out flowers and chocolates to the moms. Please let us know if you will be there.
May 17th is the last day of school. Family and friends are invited to a short program at 11:15am. Each class will show off their year end projects. A group meal will follow the program. Please bring a vegetable, fruit, or dessert to contribute to the meal. Then the school will walk to Powderhorn Park where the kids can play and celebrate the end of school.

The school field trip will be May 31 - Jun 1 at Interstate State Park (about an hour away from church). We will have two group camp sites. Sign up/Information can be found here.
