Sirsnīgs paldies Skujiņiem par cirka atvešanu uz skolu un visiem bērniem, skolotājiem, vecākiem, un skolas draugiem kuri "aizbēga kopā ar cirku''! Tas bija vislabākais draudzīgā aicinājuma cirks pasaulē! Šis noteikti bija kas jauns un traks! Skatītāji apbrīnoja un baudīja cirka-meistaru, radošos priekšnesumus, spēles, sarūpētos ēdienus, un dzērienus. Šīs būs ļoti burvīgas atmiņas visiem ko atcerēties no šī pasākuma! Skolas atbalstītāji mums sadāvināja ļoti dāsnus ziedojumus vasaras nometnēm un izglītības braucieniem uz Latviju! Liels Paldies Jums!!! Mēs vācam bildes no Draudzīgā Aicinājuma šeit. Lūdzu dalieties ar saviem foto! Cerams kā visi paguva atpūsties pēc cirka un dabūja izbaudīt pavasarīgo laiku! Šī nedēļa būs mierīgāka ar ierasto stundu grafiku: "Stundu saraksts - normal day". Sestdien būs divas iespējas atbalstīt mūsu ukraiņu brāļi un māsas. Sestdien, plkst 1:00-2:30pm, būs sapulcēšanās “Stand with Ukraine" pie minesotas kapitālu st. paulā . Ja planojiet iet, lūdzu dodiet zinu. Tad, 6:45-8:45pm būs “Spēlē hokeju/slido, atbalstot Ukrainu!” Parade Ice Garden Ledus Hallē - North Rink (600 Kenwood Parkway, Mpls, MN 55403). Nāc piedalīties draudzīgā hokeju spēlē 6:45, vai slidot uz ledus no 7:30. Slidas varēsiet izīrēt uz vietas. Ieeja pret ziedojumu organizācijai "Stand with Ukraine MN"! Vecākiem | Latviešu skolas brīvdienu aptauja rezultāts ir: Nav skolas 29. martā. Būs skola 05. aprilī - nodarbības diena ar lieldienas projekti un "Straume" filma skatīšanos. Skolas izbraukums būs 31. maijā - 01. junijā Interstate State Park, kas ir 1. stundas braucienā no baznīcas. Mums ir sarunāts grupas kempinga vieta. Informācija ir šeit. A heartfelt thank you to the Skujiņš family for bringing the circus to school and to all of the children, teachers, parents, and friends of the school that ran away with the circus. You all put on the greatest school fundraiser circus in the world! It was new and crazy! The audience was in awe and enjoyed the ring master, creative performances, games, food, and drink. We all made new memories that we will remember from now on. The school received many generous donations to support our summer camps, programs, and educational travel to Latvia. Thank you everyone! We are collecting pictures from the event here. Please share them with us. I hope that everyone will rest after the circus and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. This week will be calmer and will follow the "Stundu saraksts - normal day".
There will be two chances on Saturday to support our Ukrainian brothers and sisters. Saturday from 1-2:30pm will be a rally "Stand with Ukraine" at the Minnesota state capitol building in Saint Paul. If you plan to go, then let us know. Then from 6:45 - 8:45 pm there will be "Play hocket/skate, support Ukraine" at the Parade Ice Garden Ice Hall - North Rink (600 Kenwood Parkway, Mpls, MN 55403). Come and play a friendly hockey game at 6:45pm or join around 7:30 pm for an open skate. Skates can be rented at the venue. Entry is a donation to the organization "Stand with Ukraine". Wear clothing with Latvian or Ukrainian colors/words. Look at facebook "Latvieši Minesotā" group for more informaiton. Rumaka reading contest continues. Hope you all are reading! Parents | The latvian school holiday survey results are in: No school March 29 School April 5 - this will be an activity day with Easter-related projects and a viewing of the movie "Flow". The school field trip will be May 31 - Jun 1 at Interstate State Park (about an hour away from church). We will have two group camp sites. Sign up/Information can be found here. Please fill it out so we can prepare. 2nd semester calendar, dežurants duties, student presentation schedule is available at "Kalendārs" Please fill in the dates on the calendar for teacher or students absences or partial absences.
