17. okt - Izbraukums dabā

Šinī MEA nedēļas nogalē būs skolas izbraukums dabā. Satiksimies 9:30 no rīta pie Battle Creek Regional Park south lot. Lūdzu lietojiet šo linku ar karti, lai atrastu pareizo parka pusi (Battle creek ir liels parks!). Satiekamies pie piknika galdiem, ziemeļu pusē no novietošanās laukuma. Tiem kuri plāno piedalīties sēņot ar "Four Season Foraging" - sēņotāji tieksies tanī pašā vietā. 

Skolēni piedalīsies dabas "bingo" spēlēs lai baudītu rudens laiku. Mēs staigāsim caur parku, atpazīsim kokus, puķes, sūnas, meža dzīvniekus, sēnes utt ... Pēc pastaigas sekos kopējs pikniks - lūdzu ņemiet līdzi savas udens .pūdeles. Katie Skujiņa dežurēs pusdienas ap 11:30iem.   

Skolas diena beigsies pēc pusdienām ap 12iem.

This MEA weekend will be a school field trip to nature. We will meet at 9:30am at Battle Creek Regional Park south lot.  Please use this map link to avoid errors! We will meet at the picnic tables in the grassy area just north of the parking lot. If you are a parent or teacher participating in mushroom hunting with "Four Season Foraging", this is the same meeting place.

Students will participate in a nature "Bingo" game to enjoy the fall weather. We will hike around the park and search for trees, flowers, moss, forest wildlife, mushrooms etc ... After the hike we will enjoy a picnic lunch together. Please bring a water bottle. Katie Skujiņa will prepare the picnic lunch around 11:30. The school day will end after lunch around noon or so. This is when the "Four Season Foraging" mushroom hunt will also conclude.
