Lūdzu esiet laicīgi skolā. Skola sākas 9:30. Šīs nedēļas "Stundu saraksts - normal day" Karš Ukraiņā sākās 2022 g. 24. februarī un turpinas jau trešo gadu. Šo sestdien, lai parādītu mūsu atbalstu Ukrainai - lūdzu velciet zilu un dzeltenu apģerbu, lentītes vai pogas Ukraiņu karoga krāsās Arī ņemiet līdzi kabatas naudiņu! Vāksim naudu no skolas bērniem/vecākiem lai ziedotu Kazdangas skolai (Kazdangā, Latvijā). Visi ir mīļi aicināti uz Kazdangas zupas pusdienām. Pusdiens būs svētdien 23. februarī, plkst 11:30 baznīcā. Anita Jureviča, Brālīša mamma, apmeklēja Kazdangas skolu. Anita ar palīgiem, gatavos un pārdos vairākas garšīgas zupas lai atbalstītu skolu. Šis jau ir 16. gads, kopš Mineapoles Latviešu sabiedrība ir at balstījusii Kazdangas skolu. Ziedojumi ir lietoti lai sagādātu skolas somas, apavus, un siltas pusdienas skolas bērniem. Pudienu laikā arī būs mūsu skolas absolventu prezentācija "Sveika Latvija!". Rumaka lasīšanas konkurss turpinās. Cerams ka jūs visi lasiet! Please be on time for school. School starts at 9:30am. This week will follow "Stundu saraksts - normal day" The war in Ukraine started on 24 Feb 2022 and has continued for 3 years. This Saturday, to show our support for Ukraine, please wear blue and yellow clothing, ribbons, or buttons in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Also, bring some pocket money! We will collect money from school children/parents to donate to the school in Kazdanga, Latvia. All are warmly invited to the Kazdanga soup lunch. The lunch will be on Sunday Feb 23 at 11:30am at church. Anita Jureviča, Brālītis mom, found the Kazdanga school. Anita with helpers, prepares and sells several soups to support the school. This is the 16th year Anita together with the Mineapolis Latvian community has supported the school. Donations are used to purchase school backpacks, shoes, and warm lunches for the school children. During the lunch, our school graduates will present about their experience in the "Hello, Latvia!" summer program. The Rumaka reading contest continues. We hope you all are reading! Parents | The new survey is here. Please fill it out. It will help the principals finalize the school calendar. There is already interest in the school field trip. A group camp site was booked at Interstate State Park (About an hour away from church) for May 31 - Jun 1. Mark your calendars. More information to come. We are preparing for the school fundraiser.
