11. Aprilī - Starptautisko Festivālu | International Festival (I-FEST)

11. Aprīlī būs skolas izbraukums uz Starptautisko Festivālu (I-FEST) - St. Paulas Rivercenter. Vilksim skolas kreklus un satiksimies plkst 9:45 pie Pasaules skatuves (World Stage).

Jauniešu grupa Pērkonītis dejos īsi pēc plkst 10:00 uz Pasaules skatues (World Stage) - ceturtā deju grupa starp 10-11 no rīta. Pērkonīša jauniešu un vidējā vecuma grupa dejos pēc 12:00 (trešā deju grupa starp 12-1), arī uz Pasaules skatuvs (World Stage). Starptautiskajā Festivālā bērni ar vecākiem varēs "ceļot" uz daudzām valstīm un iegūt jaunu informāciju no izstādēm, klausīties un skatīties dziedātājus un dejotājus; izgaršot pasaules ēdienus. 18.aprilī - normāla skolas diena.

25.aprilī - 75. gada jubileja svinības. Nav skolas. Bērni dzied "Ved mani, Dievs" dievkalpojumā un viss ir mīļi aicināti uz dievkalpojumu un balli.

02.maijā - nebūs skolas bet būs tirdziņš. Lūdzam bērnus un jauniešus atbalstīt Dāmu Saimi un palīdzēt tirdziņā

09.maijā - normāla skolas diena

16.maijā - pēdējā skolas diena. Bērni parādīs projektus un priekšnesumus.

24.maijā - skolas izlaidums. Apsveiksim mūsu 8. klases absolventus, skolotājus, un vecākus!

April 11th will be a school field trip to the International Festival (I-FEST) at the St. Paul Rivercenter. Wear your school t-shirts and meet at the World Stage at 9:45 am.

The Pērkonītis youth/young adult folk dance group is performing a little after 10:00am at the World Stage - they are the 4th group to perform in the 10-11am time slot. The Pērkonītis youth/young adult and middle-aged folk dance group will dance a little after 12:00pm (3rd group in the 12-1pm time slot), also on the World Stage. Children and their parents can "travel" to different countries by visiting cultural booths, listening and watching music and dance, and trying food from around the world. 18.April - normal school day

25.April - 75th anniversary school and church celebration. No school. Children will sing "Ved mani, Dievs" at the anniversary church service and all are warmly invited to attend the service and celebration ball.

02.May - No school but the Ladies Aid is hosting the Spring bazaar. We kindly ask children and youth to support the Ladies Aid and help out at the bazaar.

09.May - normal school day

16.May - last day of school. Children will show off school projects and presentations/performances.

24.May - school graduation. We will congratulate our 8th grade graduates, teachers, and parents!
